I've recently been working on other projects, mostly in an editorial capacity.
I acted as consultant to the English Language version of the Harry Potter Chess Course. The final edition came out in Autumn 2008 so I guess it's too late to start collecting the issues!
I also revised and updated The Right Way to Play Chess, originally written by David Pritchard in 1950, and contributed a chapter on teaching your children chess.
I have contributed a chapter to The Chess Instructor 2009, published by New In Chess.
Future projects:
The chessKID Quiz Book a quiz book for users of chessKIDS academy
The Chess Obsessive/The Ultimate Chess Addict update/follow-up to the Chess Addict books incorporating material from 15 years of our Addicts' Corner column in CHESS
Pawns in the Game Children's chess: history/educational theory/psychology
Chess in Richmond A History of Richmond & Twickenham Chess Club, Richmond Junior Chess Club and chess in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames
Any publishers interested in any of these titles: please contact me.
Several people have also suggested that I should write a history of chess in Richmond, but that would not be of any interest to a commercial publisher.
