At present I am extremely busy but am always willing to consider any particularly interesting project.

Chess Tuition
I offer private/small group chess tuition, but at present I can only take on pupils who are prepared to travel to me or who live within easy reach. I am also interested in private/small group tuition within schools, although this would be difficult for me at present due to other commitments.

Chess Teaching in Schools
In principle I can run school chess clubs but I am increasingly sceptical as to the value of the traditional lunchtime/after-school club. I am always interested in talking to schools who are interested in different ways of presenting chess in schools, for instance specific courses aimed at beginners/improvers with compulsory homework.

Other teaching
I am currently studying for a certificate in the teaching of dyslexia so I am interested in any projects involving working with children with dyslexia, dyscalculia or other learning difficulties. I am also working on a project which involves the teaching of Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, and also looks at how chess and other strategy games can be incorporated into this. I am interested in any one-to-one or small group teaching along these lines, especially anything involving working with 'different' children.
